    They are very different things , cancelled indicates an unexpected issue. Not Scheduled means they are doing something different - Private events closed to the media , debate prep as someone else suggested or whatever.

    It's standard what it means. It's not a scheduled thing.

    Must be intense training though. Not even 10 minutes for an interview with a friendly news station? It's a total media blackout by him for an entire day. Happened 9 times this month, wonder if he'll make it tomorrow?

    I see Trump is slagging him about it on Twitter so he'll probably be wheeled out but I'm betting Saturday will be a "training" day.

    There's a view that Ginsberg's wishes (that a new justice isn't picked until after election/inauguration) is irrelevant, arrogance from her, etc

    That's a fine view to hold, but you can't then clutch your pearls when people are upset at Trump when he shows up to "pay respects" to her. Trump doesn't put himself out to the general, non-MAGA public all that often (disastrous town hall a recent example). He's "paying respects" to someone whose dying wish he's ignoring, something that the Republicans were all too happy to carry out under Obama. Nothing to stop him doing it of course, but spare the faux outrage

    Before you start with the usual sh*te about the Constitution or whatever, he could have at least waited a couple of days. He didn’t because he doesn’t care. He just wants to replace her.

    Funny thing is Trump is so thin-skinned that if the roles were reversed he’d probably personally demand that RBG don’t turn up to pay respects to him.

    He deserves all the booing he gets because he is there to say he went there, not because he actually gives a sh*t.

    This was discussed recently with link's etc. you may have missed it but Trumps first response regarding the death did not mention replacing her whilst Bidens did.

    Oh Biden will show up, he will obliterate Yrump in the first debate. Trump will of course claim victory and his zealots will post manipulated clips but trump will lose badly.

    Then (and this is the best part) Trump will come up with some excuse as to why he can't do the second or third debates. Biden will hopefully just go to them anyway and talk to an empty chair, or maybe a nice mannequin with a Trump mask.

    And Trump is largely to blame for the movement down to that level. He has consistently disrespected all around him, calling people ugly, stupid, corrupt and refusing to show respect at people's death, such as John McCain.

    So any discomfort you feel is directly attributable to Trump for the way he has bebased both the office he holds but also the nature of debate.
