Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Tried it there and still working. Discount codes only ever work with card payment, so if you're selecting cash that's the problem.

    I used the €20 one tonight for a takeaway that cost €19.80 including delivery and service charge. Whole thing was covered! Thanks a mil OP/former marvin employee :D

    I imagine they grew suspicious when a lot of people were using the €20 code all of a sudden. I'm sure they monitor threads like this.

    It had to have been a **** up or someone on their app team getting one up on the company.

    I just can't imagine a company, who is already struggling, going out and giving everyone a meal to the value of €20.00.

    The fact that it could be used for items under 20e as well, so essentially a free meal with no need for a card transaction.

    Usually codes that go out to the general public spell a promotion out, but this was just a random bunch of letters that worked across the board?

    Sounds like an inside **** you.
