Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    No thread for this yet so I will do the honors.

    The small fictional coastal town of Carrigeen in the south-west of Ireland is thrown into turmoil when it's earmarked for a Norwegian-owned wind farm on new Irish drama, The South Westerlies, which begins tonight on RTÉ One.
    The shoot locations included Wicklow Town, Cork and Oslo in Norway.

    Frequently advertised all week on rte, I'll give it a shot as the production appears pretty slick, could be some good scenic shots based on the premise and location.

    Not sure if this will be a folksy small town rural way of life 'David' vs a money hungry conglomerate 'Goliath' type drama or a carachter focused drama but we shall see tonight at 9.30!

    Pretty sh1t but I've probably seen worse on RTE. Not many Cork accents on display given the location. Patrick Bergin is a long way from his Hollywood days.

    RTE has become an absolute spunk bucket for throwing money at Garbage.
