    https://blog.aerlingus.com/6-new-routes-from-belfast-city-airport/

Flights from Belfast to Edinburgh will begin From 27 August, and to Exeter on 28 August. Flights to Manchester and Birmingham will operate from 14 September. And flights to East Midlands and Leeds Bradford begin from 1 October.

Stobart Air, operator of Aer Lingus Regional routes, will base five ATR72-600 aircraft at Belfast City Airport. We plan to operate over 200 flights weekly to and from Belfast. In total, Stobart Air operates 30 Aer Lingus Regional routes from bases in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.

Stobart Air will operate a high-frequency schedule with convenient flight times to facilitate passengers, providing essential connectivity between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK.

Stobart had a few aircraft working for Flybe so they need something to do too

Great news for Belfast City and Stobart. It’s also a win for Aer Lingus as it strengthens its brand in the Belfast and UK regional markets.

I’m guessing the currently stored ATRs originally destined for the Flybe and SAS franchises will be used to set this up.
