Would be nice to know why 270 cases were reported recently when the actual case numbers were 211.

When did the 59 cases occur and why are they only being reported now.

As has been pointed out for the last week and a half on here, there was quite clearly a discrepancy between tests and reported cases which was flagged most evenings

RTE go live to the dept of health, reporting 270 cases in the last 14 days which we now know isn't correct, it was 211 in the last 14 days.
Secondly saying Glynn saying today is a lag, sorry but what around 18k tests in 2 days does not show a decrease in testing over the weekend.

No wonder 75% think there's going to be a second wave

What are they seeing in the models that seemed to spark such fear and the push out of pub openings. It doesn’t seem a large spike since we opened more stuff the last few weeks. Hospital numbers looking good too.

I wouldn't entirely believe what he says about lags besides deaths tbh he's trying not to encourage complacency.

I see that:

In case we didn't catch it the first or second time, his use of the word supermarket for the third time suggests that it appears to be spreading now in supermarkets more than it used to in the last few months? What's going on here - were there supermarket clusters in last few days?

As individuals we are free to post how masks make us feel etc. At no time did I suggest wearing masks wasn't helpful in the overall prevention of Covid.

It would be helpful if you left your bullying attitude offline. People have varying degrees of knowledge on Covid. Some haven't the time to be online constantly or haven't the desire.

You could see it on that RTE doc - Inside Ireland's Covid Battle - the toll it was taking on doctors and nurses. And even when restrictions started to lift and people were back out and about, some being lose with the guidance, they were still in the trenches every day.

Ordinarily I'd fully agree but they just said that the Dept of Health said they expect the number to rise tomorrow due to reduced testing over the weekend.

I'm beginning to think they stored the cases to stop the pubs opening

59 cases or 22% is a hell of a descreptancy
