If it wasn't for the non-runners in the 6th race ya probably would have got it twice - Paid close to E650 , what a sickener.
Some good picks.. You'd have made a nice profit if you did reverse forecasts on the races where you picked two.
I don't do placepots but the dividends were crap yesterday, apart from N.Abbot. Out of the other 4 meetings I think the E16 or so at Leicester was the best.

WD on Bellewstown pottokblue
Wasn't having a go at picking more than one selection in a race - it's the smart thing to do. I'd say the majority that do placepots have several lines at a meeting fairly regular.
Good luck with the two at Newbury - I see a lot of non-runners there.. Bloody going change most likely. I was thinking of having a look at Friday's cards myself but might as well stick a pin on them rather than trying to assess form without knowing what the ground will be like

I hope that horse obliges for us pottokblue; some money for him as well.
As far as placepots go I think it takes way too much time to study every race. And then you might pick a 20/1 second in the 6th, but the 4/7 fav might just get up for third and you're thinking why did I waste my time and not just plump for the jolly in that race :pac:
On the other hand if you tell yourself you're gonna do a placepot you might find 2 or 3 that you could have a single on that otherwise you would not have seen, so there is that. Might give it a go myself. The more races studied, the more win and each way opportunities can be found; and lay bets too if a person has an online a/c.

Best of luck pottokblue. Should be a good one to get up twice. I see Nathan Moscrop got a 10 day ban for not pulling up Im Too Generous in the 4.40. Apparently the horse was lame - must have happened after he jumped the last - he did the right thing imo? Johnson wouldn't have gotten a ban for that :mad:
