    Hi

Experiencing a lot of power outages recently, for example have had 7 flickers in last week where cuts out for 30 seconds or so . It's happening throughout area.

Often they are mini outrages less than a minute or so- but very inconvenient when tv and all electrics shut down, especially with working from home.

I was wondering what are options - is a battery backup an option for these mini outrages as oppose to a generator and are they even feasible ?

Would be fine for your PC but not much else.
They are expensive (new) and very heavy.
If its a serious problem for work I'd just change to a laptop but that wont keep your internet working !

APC do a small tiny UPS it's like a chunky 4 gang socket

I got it 4 years ago it was about 80 euro at the time

I use it on my CCTV and my internet router , NAS and switches in the attic

Not that bulky or hot. Only very small loads though.
