Hi I'm just inquiring if anyone has worked or is at present working as a Engineering Operative for Dublin Bus.

Is it just a fancy name for a cleaning job??

    Cheers

I think the role may also involves shunting the buses around the depot and also taking out, removing and counting out the coins paid into the autofare dispenser on board and possibly a few other bits of light of maintenance as well but I'm not entirely sure myself

    Its cleaning and washing buses.

Possibly some other minor roll on top.

I am right in saying you need a D licence or at least the learner permit but not the CPC aswell for the job.

It's a fancy title for a workshop labourer

If you have a B license then you get a D licence through them.
