And do both teams have the same code words?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,941 ✭✭✭osh

Ours words will be different, its maybe possible some could be the same through chance.

The codes we get each round will be most likely different also

One thing I'm unsure about, how is the game won? Team who gets the most codes correct or team who guesses the other teams 4 code words?

2 most obvious ways to win,

    opposing team intercepts code twice.

your team fails to decipher code twice.

    Okay I get it.

    Are the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4?
Exactly. All 4 codewords are numbered 1-4.

Both teams have different secret code words. It is your job to try work out the other team's codewords and intercept their code.

Osh are you happy to be the Codemaster for round 1 for Team 1?

Thanks. The speaker doesn't necessarily need to change each round. I just need to know who to take the final answer off of.

    ROUND 2:
Codes have been sent to the new codemasters. They have 24 hours to post their clues on thread.

TEAMS MUST WAIT FOR THE OPPOSING TEAM TO ATTEMPT TO INTERCEPT THE CODE BEFORE THEY MAKE THEIR GUESS.

Team 2 now have a chance to intercept. sKeith, you can give your guess whenever your team are ready.

does that mean max length of time is 48 hours per round? Will likely always go faster. Just wanting to clarify our limits.

Yeah I'm kinda still working out the timings so any feedback is appreciated. I was giving the codemasters 24 hours to clue but hadn't set a time for the guesses. We'll say a further 24 hours for guesses to be submitted. So a round should take 48 hours maximum.

So Team 1 have an opportunity to intercept the code. Team 1's nominated speaker (ahem) can give their guess whenever they're ready.

(Guesses to be in by 18:30 tomorrow evening)
