Cheap 144hz Monitor

This is as cheap as you will get. Should be a solid panel. You would have to pay a bit more for IPS.

I wouldn't be crazy about TN panels.

IMO IPS > VA > TN.

That doesn't mean every IPS is better than every VA or TN but in general the colour reproduction is a lot better than TN. Especially at 1080p 27" inches the colours and contrast are not going to look very good on a TN panel. The response time is the only advantage.

I use a monitor arm with it which is lucky for me because apparently the stand is shyte.

I only regretted getting it seeing you posting that cheaper monitor, but I failed it see it's 1080p and not QHD. Now I feel ok again lol. The screen itself is brill imo. And yeah I went with this after weeks of looking around and availability did factor in.

There was a weird flickering thing with my screen at first. I was using the old DVI cable I used to use with a my BenQ XL2720T. Turns out just using the DVI I got with the new screen fixed that. Odd.
