I'm shocked , a link from the city bus and railway stations to hard to get to industrial estates where THOUSANDS of people work?

Sure there'll be no demand for that !
A new private bus service approved by the National Transport Authority (NTA) is set to get underway and will connect the northside of the city at Apple Computers with Kent Station and the commercial and industrial hubs in Little Island.

Run by Cobh Connect company, so that's been a successful route.

If this route isnt successful then I dunno what would be for the island

Is it just me, or have they being expanding a lot lately? This service, cobh connect, seem to operate at least some (all?) of GoBus Cork and now DublinExpress service too!

They're opening a new depot in Swords shortly.

But they've always done work for huge amounts of people, some of their clients include GoBus, Bus Eireann, Irish Rail, Aircoach, Globus, Tauck, Brendan Vacations, Matthews, Wexford Bus, Swords Express, Eurolines, National Express, Railtours Ireland, CIE Tours, Trafalgar and Cosmos to name a few.

That's before you consider the tendered work that they to for the NTA and their own brands such as Barry's Coaches, Barry's Travel, Edinburgh Coach Lines, Cobh Connect, Cork Connect, Kavanagh Travel and the rural routes they run around Kilkenny. They're involved in vehicle leasing a fair bit too.

Most of the business strategy for them appears to be being a white label operator for many different people, which suits many operators since easier to hire Bernard Kavanagh for the peak times when needed rather than employing staff and purchasing vehicles that are only needed for a few hours on a Friday and Sunday and are otherwise unused.

Must be the biggest private coach operator in Ireland.
