Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Might be facing this in the near future. Anyone here been through the process and how did they find it and how does it work thanks.

    Get your doctor to send letter on the procedure you need. You pay for consultant, you then get a date and pay on the day in full (they may do instalments but unsure).

    Depends on what you are getting done as different areas are under different people.

    The same way it works in a doctors surgery. They give you an invoice or tell you how much it costs and you pay with cash or card and get a receipt.

    The most common of all, would anyone like to hazzard a guess what the consultant surgeon might charge, or say probably between X and X amount, just to have a guide price at this stage.

    If its any help at all I had an op done in the Hermitage in Lucan . On the breakdown on Laya invoice the surgeon charged around €600

    Consultants vary but around €150 for first visit is normal and €4 for parking.
