Some really good players are not going to get on the tour , and some really crap players have fluked a card with a jammy day.
Its a strange set up but thats life , one of the guys who got a card today won 150 in challange tour prize money on tour last year, while u have alan norris who could end up on challange tour himself

I suppose the luck of the draw and the best of 9 legs format lends itself to that unfortunately

Beeney got knocked out the first 2 days with 60 averages, and yesterday he didn't even get a 90 average in any game, he definitely got lucky yesterday. Fair play to him but on evidence shown he'll need to hit the practice board more or he'll get eat alive on the pro tour

Sherrock out averaged 92 missed crucial doubles

It will be Peter “one match” Manley if he doesn’t buck up. Dreadful stuff.

Edit : He actually won that leg ffs.

And he scrapes through 5-4 with a 75 average.

    That's mad!

Sherrock and Suzuki both very unlucky to average over 90 and still go out in the first round.

Keane Barry started well with two 5-0 wins, averaging 90 and 94.

Lisa Ashton out in the second round. Touch and go now for her to get through.

    Is there any live standings?

By my reckoning she's down to 8th, a few players on 7 points have gone to 8 points now. I'd say she's in trouble, I think one point would have done her. She must be kicking herself

Keane barry playing well by the looks of it

Good man barry, 4-2 down facing match darts. Comes back to win.

Hard to say this early for sure, a few directly behind her gone early too, asada, edhouse, pilgrim, Nicholson Mawson and modra

    Here you go:

    https://www.dartsrankings.com/qschool-uk

Looks like if Wes Newton is beaten next round Ashton and Newell on 9 points will get through

edit: maybe not - lewis pride currently has a better leg difference and the lads on 7 pts could also dislodge the 9 pointers

    Interesting situations arising now.

Tabern plays Newton - Tabern already secure; if Newton currently sitting in 13th with 12 to qualify... were he to win he's a step closer...

    just sayin' ;)

O Driscoll, O'Shea and Barry the last of the Irish left. Waites v Mitchell starting soon

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭boomdocker

Mitchell v Waites in the last 32, should be tasty

Barry through to last 32 , does he need outright win?

He is now through to the last 8. Just needs 2 more wins.

Needs to win outright. Whatever happens, he is some talent.

Lisa Ashton now sitting in 11th out of the top 12 order of merit qualifiers.

Penhall set to go above her. If Steve Hine wins one more match, she will miss out.
