    Hi all!

It's festive season and both my hair and my walled are in catostrophic form. Any good recommendations on value hair deals that offer good quality? I'm a student, if that helps!

    Thanks!

Do you mean the Barbers Chair, 66 Lower Dominick street?

    Opposite the Galway Arms?

I ask as I'm looking for a haircut myself.

I've seen higher prices than I expected:

    18 in Oranmore
    17 in Briarhill

I was hoping to pay more like 12.

Is Chick Gillen still on the go?

I suspect the OP is female?

I'm thinking George Rafferty on Dominick street is a barber.

    Sorry, yes. Female hair!

Chick Gillen long retired sadly. George is decent or keep an eye out for specials on other barbers websites..

Miss, try Kulture Kurl(?) on abbeygate Street, often do student prices and look for models, dunno much else

I'm also badly in need of a cut but on a budget, anyone know of anywhere perhaps that night be offering free or discounted hair model cutting classes or something similar?

Or even just where's cheap for a ladies haircut?

I'm a bit late responding but GTI on Fr. Griffin Rd have a salon where you can get your hair cut by a student hairdresser. Its not open all the time but if you call the main GTI switchboard they'll be able to give you the details(091 581342). Got a lovely wash cut and blowdry for free once there when I was a student, not sure if its free all the time but mine was (its not expected but very nice to give a tip if you can).

Could get onto bellissimo, they do quite a lot of training in of new hairdressers so would need models regularly.
