Played the Point in 2017 and RDS in 2018, would they ever give us a break.

As much as I like the Killers ,I think I will be giving this a miss.

The new album seems to be just Brandon and Ronnie ,much like the last one.
Dave seems to have been cut out of the band and Mark has almost no input either.

Its no longer The Killers as such ,its two of the original lineup .

I couldn't imagine anything worse, standing in a crowd that band would attract, well I can, an Avril Lavigne crowd, I couldn't help myself but to buy a ticket for that. Imagine an ugly short neck beard like me standing in that sort of crowd.

Anybody know the price of tickets for this?

I was there in the RDS and it was a pretty great gig. No complaints. I was able to get Golden Circle below face value a week before though, so I can't see them selling out Malahide Castle.

    69.90 plus fees so ~ 77 euro.

Sam Fender worth EUR25 at least so this is pretty good value I think.

They won't sell out Malahide castle though, what's the capacity there?

Malahide is 20,000 - I think the RDS is 30,000

Jaysus, didn't think Malahide was smaller than RDS! I think they're excellent live in fairness, always put on a proper show despite not being to everyone's fancy!

Malahide is 20k, RDS is 38k with pitch standing

I did not realise there was 38k at an RDS gig. That seems WAY too high?

Think when the seating is removed at the city end they can get 40k. I believe a lot of capacity are dependent on what the streets can take around the venues and thats why a lot of regional gaa stadiums had there capacitys reduced.

If the killers could flog over 30 to 40 k off tickets why not play the rds for just one night ? Surely it would be cheaper for a promoter unless there getting malahide for peanuts?

RDS could well have all it’s quota used up, with Green Day and the usual Reading Headliners playing there(one would guess MCR are almost a guarantee and Possibly twenty one Pilots),

Not big enough for Croke Park or Slane.

Malahide is MCD’s other real option

At the RDS last year the demographic was the exact opposite. At 28 I felt like I was the youngest person there. Same time of year, June 20th maybe?
