If I had a locked cupboard, the power drill would come out and the door would be taken off the hinges. And probably around 3AM.

So Debenhams have their own beauty advent calendar on offer. It’s 90 euro, but if you buy another Beaty product, you get the calendar half price.

    And

Full fat coke is a great Christmas drink

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,792 ✭✭✭Postgrad10

Yeah if you are going for coke, you might as well get the real thing but drink in moderation.

I’m a Pepsi Max girl but since I switched from regular Coke to Diet Coke a few years ago I can’t stand the flavour of regular Coke.

We tend to use up 3 or 4 of those on a weekly shop anyway, but I like your thinking!!

We are lucky to have a stash place for slabs of beer and soft drinks.
Scared to buy boxes of sweets though because there is a locust child and friends who will hoover them up if they are found!

When the price war starts the tubs will reduce in price anyways! Still E6 on the supervalu page. One year I did keep a spare for a whole year! But now I cannot shop often I find I am hoarding more.
    Made my first list anyways.

Supervalu have 1kg tins for €8 (the plastic tubs are 650g, so it's the equivalent of them being €5.20)

This was in Ranelagh, the label said the offer ends 23/10 but they still have them at that price

The tins are very old fashioned-y, much nicer than the tubs as presents

All tubs, large boxes of chocolate fingers, some biscuits, boxes of Tayto and King are €4 in Dunnes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 30,178 ✭✭✭✭freshpopcorn

Boxes of Tayto are €3.99 in SuperValu!

I was just under €8 short for using a Dunnes €10 off voucher. Grabbed two tins of Heros, total bill reduced by €2 and another €10 off voucher.
In effect they paid me €2 to take two tins,

Most Christmas things in Woodies are now half price. :)

It's their annual 'have everything super expensive for about a week, then have a sale to make it look like you're getting a bargain', but still!
