Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Do we need to enforce a shorter turnaround time for these last few picks, in order to 1) Give Brinty a chance to get the rosters updated 2) Have a round of free agency ahead of the kick-off on Thursday?

    Ok so draft is done.

    Can y'all start cutting your rosters. I'll send out players as quickly as I can tomorrow. This would clear the way for a round of free agency for Wednesday morning and people can set their line ups for Thursday.

    I'll also increase everyone's faab budget to $250 to show for the two teams I'll be removing

    I need you all to set your keepers. I told you pre draft i wouldn't be doing that for you this year. I can't select keepers for you so get it done by tomorrow so i can start sending out draft picks to everyone and do the FAAB in advance of Tursday morning.

    The only teams i have seen thus far select their keepers are
    Spongey - BearDown
    BlueShamrock - The Shamrockers
    MaskedMan - Bedrock Boulders
    EagleEye - Foxboro Legends
    Ailie Cows - Brinty

    I'll now try and delete the other two teams and do the offline draft.

    You're ok mate, was easy to do. Everyone had cut down their rosters so I just tick the players they had left, it was the same for half the teams, not a huge deal. Inputting peoples draftees now.

    The two teams leaving have been deleted and their players are in the free agency pool.

    Free Agency is going to be lit.

    Ok folks, i have sent out draft picks. You should all have your amended rosters. If there are any issues DM me ASAP and I'll amend before Thursday and the start of the season.

    Please note the following

    1) i have deleted the two teams with no owners. We are now a ten team 2 division league.
    2) i have given everyone a 250 budget for FAAB for this year.
    3) FAAB will not run tomorrow as is the norm for the league. This gives everyone until Wednesday to have a look at their needs, who's in the FAAB pool (there's some big ones) and make their bids.
    4) i can't think of anything else right now.
    5) enjoy the upcoming season.

    Folks I also still want to step down and would like for someone else to take on the GM reins for 2019.

    They draft board for 2020 is very straight forward for the first time since I joined this league. Everyone has their own picks and their own alone. That should make things very easy. Trading was a lot quieter in 2018 and myself, Limpar and Tristram didn't execute any blockbuster trades.

    Here's hoping 2019 might have a few more trades and we all start having a bit more craic with this league than in previous years. If there's interest in it I'll set up a groupme for the league. We can all join, no one has you personal details but we can all interact and have some fun. It adds to things in plenty of my leagues.
