Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hi
    anyone any idea of any good investment plans.
    I have been looking and state savings with post office seems like a good return after 10 years but as I am new to this would love some advice.

    You should speak with a proper financial adviser. They'll walk you through this better than any Boardsie! After that...you could ask complete strangers investment advice.

    Educate yourself - courses,books,youtube,articles etc.
    an Index fund ETF is always a safe investment like for example one that matchs the S&P 500 (Such as $VOO or $SPY) which has averaged a yearly return of 10% since 1926.
