Lift needed to get the 0800 ferry from Rosslare to Fishguard on Monday 5th August. I am going to the Spraoi Festival in Waterford for the weekend. Can anyone travelling back on Monday to catch the 0800 ferry from Rosslare give me a lift as there is no public transport to get me there in time for this ferry!! I would be very grateful and willing to share fuel costs. Thanks. Beth

Looks like the earlier 8.00AM Stena Ferry only has bus connections in time from Wexford.

The later 08.45 Irish Ferries appears to only have a bus connection from New Ross.

Maybe you'll have to negotiate a deal with a local taxi / cab company? Book in advance & try a few firms?

NTA now stands for No Transport Anywhere, it seems  Funny how they managed to mislay a railway line from Waterford to Rosslare and then not specify buses from Waterford to Rosslare to *actually* meet sailings

Stena Line changed there sailings. There was a bus to meet the 09.00 and 21.00 until they changed. I don't think advancing 07.00 schedule to 06.00 leaving Waterford would make enough commercial sense to meet the earlier schedule.

Route 40 is also not a PSO service so NTA have no say.
