    Hi all

    Looking for some advice

    I fell in love with the spider a few years ago where we go on holidays in Italy. And for the last few years when I go back I see the same little red series 4 sitting there winking at me!

    So I started searching for them online and have come across 2 in Italy on a classic car dealers website

    One is a series 4 80000kms looks in great condition €22k for a 1991

    The other is a 76 duetto 20000kms but fully restored.
    Completely resprayed in Alfa rosso and a full new interior and it’s only €25k!!!

    What you think of these?

    I love them but doesn't Italy have funny rules about exporting cars? Why look there when you can look here

    Both of these will be of the kamm tail but I'd still go for the earlier car for the aesthetics . As already pointed out it can be quiet beurocratic exporting cars from Italy so be sure the vendor is willing to assist you with the paperwork.

    Somewhere in the middle might be your best bet.

    I hate the look of those 90s spiders, they look like retro styling gone wrong. While most love the Duetto, the next series is just as pretty for me, and still look proper vintage.

    If buying from Italy I think I'd go for a seller with experience of getting cars on a boat!

    Thanks guys. Yeah seller will deliver to Dublin and it’s that car in your first link is one I’m thinking of. That’s full restored that one

    Have you considered a GTV ? I know of an (not mine) exceptional chrome bumpered GTV here in Ireland for a fraction of the price of the Spyders you were looking at, plus it's RHD. If you are interested PM me for details.
