Maternity Benefit First Payment

    Hi,

    I'm starting maternity leave next week, the €245 social welfare payment. Website states it's paid a week in advance so if my maternity start date is 15th do I get a payment on the 15th?

    Yes, or the Saturday before depending on your bank. I started last Monday 8th and my payment was in AIB on Saturday 6th.
