But i suspect your right,he may double cross unionists to secure power

I meant he will quickly develop a distain for her and her crew.

He's an impatient type. If the dup do not agree with him, he'll run them off. His advantage is that if he is leader and gets agreement on current deal with the Irish sea as the trade border, he will be a near certainty for a large majority in a new election. And the dup will know that.

    Watch Foster start squirming

That was Boris. He was heard yelling “Get off my ****ing laptop”.

    Not very Prime Ministerial.

Foster will back out and dissolve the government.

That will push an election before any deal can be made, that will bring remain back on the table as the major point of the election, something Boris will not want.

She must have been sitting on the laptop.

She must have been sitting on the laptop.

Not a seat in the entire flat.

They should launch an internal investigation......oh nothing happens after that....

    Do it FG style

It may have been on a seat, she may have sat on it without looking. We won’t know without a video of the incident.

A bit like the UK Labour Party investigating their own anti Semitism problem.

Boris is that far ahead of Hunt that he would need to be caught on video dragging his partner's dead body into a shallow grave at the bottom of the garden in the middle of the night for Hunt to have any chance of catching him.

I would still defend him on the grounds that she might have been armed or a terrorist and he clearly acted in self-defence. If he had killed a man, we wouldn't even be talking about it. It's only an issue because he killed a woman. Anyway, he had the decency to bury her. What more do you want?

I'm not necessarily saying he was right to kill her, but he could clearly be heard asking her to get off his laptop. If she had got off his laptop, she'd still be alive.

She could have been googling a recipe and BoJo realised he hadn't deleted his browser history.

So she's a screamer in bed, hardly a reason to call the police.

"Can I use your laptop for a minute, just want to Google a recipe"

"Hang on, I'll just... get it ready for you"

"It's okay, I know how to use it"

"No, wait... I have to get it ready"

Or maybe she was binging porn on his laptop and he objected. Either is equally plausible.

Neighbour definitely a remainder. And scum.

Oh I see. So by your logic Leavers would not call the police if they thought they heard domestic violence next door.

Especially if their neighbour is Boris Johnson. In which case he can of course count on their support in his bid for PM.

Nice selective quoting. The neighbour recorded it and gave the recording to the Guardian. That is clearly what I responded to. But no, you have to twist my words. Is that what remainers do?

Not twisting your words at all. In your very first post you stated that whoever called the police must have been politically motivated. You hadn't mentioned anything about a recording at that point.

Therefore it stands to reason, by your logic, that a Leaver would not have called the police upon hearing a disturbance in Mr Johnson's home.

There is no other conclusion to be drawn from your assertions.

Boris Johnson in a bit of strife
he nearly beat up his soon to be wife.
His altercation reflects the state of their nation.
Kicking in chairs and knocking down tables
In a posh house in a South end town
call the cops there's a madman around.

    Complete BS.

    In what sense?

That's the logical conclusion of your assertions.

Oh wait, next you're going to ask for proof, right?

If you don't stop arguing I will have no option but to call the gardai and send a transcript of the row to the Sunday World.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,420 ✭✭✭splinter65

It was only a heated argument? Proof please.

The police called. Spoke to both parties. Left them as no crime had been committed. Are you saying the police lied?

Screaming AND shouting? Outrageous. You may as well throw in the kitchen sink. Banging? Horrendous.

You've an odd idea of what a normal relationship is.

    This.

The DUP has the Tories by the short and curlies. An election now and Boris loses the PM seat permanently.

When it comes to it, negotiations between the Tories and DUP will involve Boris on his hands and knees while Arlene prepares the strap-on.

The good of the nation means nothing to this man. If a hard Brexit is the only way to keep the DUP onside, then a hard Brexit it will be.

Still don’t know why May didn’t just threaten direct rule and to use it to bring in marriage equality and abortion.

Don’t want to be any different to the rest of the UK? Then you won’t be as long as you do what you’re told.

    It’s baffling.

It isn't. May was a weak leader and her successor is likely to be worse. Anyone could see that threatening the DUP with SF-friendly Jeremy Corbyn in No 10 would have them in line sharply enough.

We sat again for an hour and a half discussing maps and figures and always getting back to that most damnable creation of the perverted ingenuity of man - the County of Tyrone.
