Just a fyi... for those who don't know about it, fixyourstreet.ie web service and the app are great for reporting issues that need council attention... have found that issues are quickly resolved once reported. just wanted to promote a public service that people might not be aware of.

hedge cutting, pothole fixing, rubbish dumping, graffiti
just find the service very good and is a great facility to allow us citizens/mere mortals to report public infrastructure that needs attention...

EPA has a similar app - see it say it, both use the Ushahidi platform

    Is that a recent thing?
Its a good website - not sure how reactive Galway City Council are though?
Spent 1 year on fixyourstreet.ie web service trying to get a pothole next to a manhole cover fixed in Galway City in 2017/2018 .Was on Shantalla Road. Used the monthly update feature.

I reported a broken street lamp a few months ago on fixmystreet. The next morning at 7am there was a guy in a cherry-picker fixing it, I couldn't believe it! I guess the response time depends on the difficulty of the fix

yeah, i think they automatically route lighting reports to Electric Skyline... they also have a very good mapping platform.. https://deadsureapp.com/Inventory?map=DeadSureGalwayCity
