I do like the sincerity in this post. I’ll unvote you once I find a new suspect.

I've done two ISOs today on Desmond and Eva, didn't see any opinions from you on either of them.

I wouldn't worry about me, the wolves know if they keep me alive too long I'll drop a wagonomics nuke on their furry heads.

Lynch me at endgame if I'm still around, by all means though if you still have your doubts.

Well if you are asking, Dessies ISO is ok. Dont disagree with your conclusions. Dont know why you chose to focus on him - maybe i missed the reason why?)

Evas ISO is useless tbh. Nothing against you - its just its only 8 posts. Id imagine it could completely have changed since she started posting. Why did you choose her as well?

Its interesting that you are only sussing people you have ISO'd (taking your turnaround on Conor into account), given you didnt damn Dessie in your ISO; and you are damning Eva on fluff posting.

I actually decided to ISO Dessie as I was wondering why Wendy found his first post wolfy, cos, tbh - I still don't see it.

As for Eva, I've seen nothing in her posting today to dissuade my suspicions, it's all defending herself against me, or mech talk which is an easy place for a wolf to get their post count up.

Also while on Eva, she said that there were others who agreed with me on her, and was going to be suspicious of them hours ago. Nothing about who these others are, and she's been posting about mechanics since.

    #FFA1

Riona - 25 posts - all just questions or possible role theories, no opinions or investigations
Eva - all her posts are fluff - either discussing nothing of interest or mechanics
Wendy - claims to be busy and only skimming the thread, could be a low lying wolf.

Kind of rushed through some ISOs there and this is what I've come up with, which isn't much.

Angus Posted reads list with too many wolves. Maybe a paranoid villager.
    Barbara 2 Posts. No read
    Brendan 3 Posts. No read
Clodagh Not a clue here other than possible suicidal villager
Conor Pounced on Clodagh's apparent slip. Made some good points beyond this discussion. Aggressive villager for now.
    Desmond Limited posts, villagish
Doris Keen to discuss the gifts and the lack of discussion around them. Posted an FFA. Village lean.
Eva Unconcerned about being on Gabriel's FFA but says those who parrotted him are more interesting, but can't see who did that. Possible wolf on flimsiest of reasons.
Fiona Made notes and posted pre-munch. Neutral
    Gabriel Giffy. Seems quite village.
Gertrude Asking questions. Interacting. Village lean for now.
Henry Posting about secrets and tasks. Called out Clodagh just before munch. Doesn’t want to get sidetracked by trap announcement which I find strange. Could be aggressive villager, could be noisy wolf.
Holly Present gif? Odd play for wolf to post a gif though. Not much there. Village for now.
Jake Seems to be paying attention. Post #382 legit post count - what's this mean? Neutral.
Liam Interesting post #51. Not much else there at the moment. Neutral
Oisin Not seeing the heat here. I read the defensiveness as too OTT to be real. That said not much else. Neutral.
Phil Asking questions, staying involved. Village read.
Riona Pointed out Crane might show village on peek. Villagish
Steve Reads Oisin as bad v quickly. Leans towards no tasks. Reserved posting style. Possible wolf.
    Tegan Asking questions. Villagish.
Wendy Limited posts, village for now

I’m most suspicious of Wendy and Conor. If I were to do an ffa right now it’d be them 2. Conor is pure gut feel. Somethings just not sitting right with me. Wendy is the comment about skimming the thread. Anyone invested in the village would be doing more than just skimming imo. Could also be a case that she’s struggling to keep up because she possibly has more than 1 chamber.

Based on my initial reads my #FFA1 is

    Steve
    Eva
    Henry

    Ok, Oisin's ISO.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
    Hi everyone.

Oh good catch. I hadn’t noticed. That’s a right pain.

Enters thread, quotes some mechanical talk. It's NAI tbh.

    Oisin WW wrote: »
What on earth would have you thinking that after 1 post from me? Throwing out wild accusations reeks of wolf to me, or possibly a task. Lay out your argument against me so I can defend this outrageous claim!

The reaction to Clodagh calling Oisin a wolf. Very, very defensive. Though tbf, I can't blame her particularly given Clodagh later rescinded the read.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
So what on earth were you basing it on?

    Oisin WW wrote: »
So I’m not supposed to defend myself?

These two are kind of together, another response to Clodagh and then Steve leaps in to attack Oisin for being defensive.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
My defense was to accuse her which is what she did to me. I had grounds to accuse her. I’m still waiting for her to give her grounds.

Still very defensive in this post, admitting to OMGUS on Clodagh, not sure what the grounds were at this point to accuse the accuser, but we shall continue...
    Oisin WW wrote: »
I would ask the village remember that this bandwagon on me started without any reason at all. Avenge my death!

This is a weird post. Two people jump on her and suddenly the game is up? Not sure I like this reaction at all.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
I think she’s a wolf or on a task for accusing with no reason.

Final post regarding the Clodagh accusal. Wolf or on a task? Can it not be both? If I was really particular here I'd see this as TMI in knowing there are tasks, but not for wolves. Let's leave the tinfoil at the door for now though.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
    Oh share!

Nothing for a while then Henry reveals he has a 'secret'. This is the more suss thing I've found about Oisin and you'll see as the ISO progresses, they have a habit of diving into the thread, fully caught up with the goings on.

The next post is barely game related but....
    Oisin WW wrote: »
What on earth is a sheep reveal?!

Again it's an example of landing in the thread and knowing exactly what's going on. Could be reading in the background, could be getting caught up backstage....
    Oisin WW wrote: »
Right so, I’m off to watch some crap telly while you lot play other weird games about sheep.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
Oh can I say c**p? I thought boards would censor it. Sorry!

    Sheep stuff. Meh. Fluffy.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
    No gift for me.

And again with the leap into the thread. This is known as the lesser spotted genie effect.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
I’m inclined to think the tasks could be wolf v SK for the first kill. Be interesting to see if we have 1 or 2 kills this morning.

More task talk. If Oisin is a wolf, there are no wolf tasks. IMO.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
They were looking for sponsors before the game so I assume they’re watching.

    Fluff.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
If I had inside knowledge I wouldn’t be sharing it

Hmmm.... if you were a villager you probably should share this. Wolfy post.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
    Rip Mary and Abi :(

I’ve not been trapped, whatever that means. Just afk with rl complications. I’ll be around for the rest of today, but if I’m still alive, I won’t be able to get on until around this time again tomorrow.

Are we declaring votes or going blind?

Nothing then until he returns with his RIP message.

Again, not bothered about that but Oisin despite his RL complications is very well caught up with the thread. Hmmmmm....
    Oisin WW wrote: »
I agree with this. Much as I want to lynch Clodagh I don’t think it’s a good move. Not good play for a wolf or SK to draw so much attention so early on.

This post makes no sense. If you want to lynch Clodagh then do it, seems like a wolf hedging their bets, and able to jump back on Clodagh again if the village wills it.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
I see Clodagh threw a right auld strop whilst I was writing my last post. I don’t know what to make of that at all.

    Meh.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
Suspicious that I can’t spend all day online? Your reasons are your reasons I suppose

Again jumps in here, defensive enough. Not looking for a fight this time though. Interesting change of approach from yesterday when he wanted the village to 'avenge his death'.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
Why are we referring to the backrooms as backrooms? I think chambers have a more hunger games feel to it. If anyone needs me I’ll be in the chamber? Yeah I’m more happy with that.

Henry I’m not happy to see myself on your ffa :( Is it really so unlikely that someone can’t be online 24/7? Can’t you just believe in me? Why must I feel like I’m always on the run in these games?! You lot are giving me a complex :(

Mech talk but now back to the defensive line. I find it interesting that it changes depending on who he responds to.
    Oisin WW wrote: »
Ah Henry can’t we just be friends?

And again more defensiveness towards Henry.

Overall, I can see quite a lot of wolf equity here. I'd like to see some reads, or an FFA from Oisin that does not involve his accusers, showing that he's trying to gamesolve at least.

Very reactive poster and caught up with the thread at all times. I suppose they could be reading along, but the speed of some of their posts after something takes place make me wonder is there info being relayed somewhere else.

Can't rule out them being informed in a district backroom.

I could be convinced to lynch Oisin tonight if Eva isn't viable (I hate outlier votes).

Ha, just as I post the ISO!

Conor is a funny one as I'm leaning away from him now that he's posting more. I really didn't like the exchange with Clodagh at all though, it was icky.

I've nothing on Wendy, but take your point re: the skimming.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 1,540 ✭✭✭Oisin WW

Ah Gabriel me auld buddy, we all have a backroom. It’s nothing to be suspicious of. On your point that a villager would share background info if they had it. They wouldn’t if it was to the detriment of the village. Something to bare in mind. Not just in relation to me but when deciding who else to off too.

My sincere apologies to the village, I hope to be a lot more useful from tonight until the end of my game. I just have to catch up on about 500 posts now.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,745 ✭✭✭Fiona WW

Right then, I know I haven't been as active today as I'd like to be, but I have been skimming throughout the day, so here's a quick read on people that have the higher post counts

Gertrude - Focused on by Henry for saying that Clodagh is probably a wolf but not necessarily. Not really seeing what all the commotion is about here

Henry - The opposite side of this argument. Seems focused on Gertrude for thinking Clodagh is probably village. Claims to speak on behalf of his backroom, probably true since there would be several people to refute this - if that room exists

Phil - Very focused on the gifts, and wherever they ended up

Clodagh - As I stated earlier, best to be left alone for now to see how things unfold

Conor - Referred to villagers as "you people" - claims it was a grammatical error

Gabriel - Seems very helpful today, asking questions and trying to unpack the mechanics

Will try to do an ISO on a few more people with fewer posts and with numbers around mine.

In the meantime, if anyone has any questions they'd like to ask me - opinions on specific people, or any questions directed towards me that I may have missed - please fire away. I'm here to contribute as much as I can for most of the day now

Fair enough. Answer me this though, you earlier said you really wanted to lynch Clodagh but I can't see any reasoning in your posts other than her calling you out as a wolf.

Is it just that or is there more to it?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,752 ✭✭✭Jake WW

At the moment, I really only have one name on my FFA (Conor), but I also want to take a read back over the Clodagh drama today. If I were a wolf, I think I'd be trying to get a bandwagon going there, trying to flood the votes for them.
Post #382 legit post count - what's this mean?

Someone posted the post count from this thread. I was referring to the fact that someone may have a post count here AND a post count in their districts. I reckon in mine, there's some people who haven't posted yet, and I think there's some posting over there more than they are here.

Nah, I can buy that. Fair enough reason imo. Still maintain that Clodagh is village, but no idea why she came out with that so early in the game.

Hit reply before I was finished!

It’s also not a villager move as it’s drawing attention on someone who could be pivotal to the village. (Not saying I am, just saying clodagh doesn’t know if I am or not) I’m leaning toward unhelpful villager though as we always seem to have a few of them and it would be very bad play from a wolf or SK so early on.

I can definitely see where you're coming from, but that early in the game it's pretty obvious that it wasn't a serious accusation. Her behaviour today even further throws her motive into question

However, do you actually think she's a wolf? If you do, then fair enough. But if you think she is a villager, and you're just voting for her for revenge, then I really don't think that's the best play. Play the long game

You're an odd duck Conor. As well as the other faults pointed out in this ISO, you say that I commented on the two wolves munched. In the same post I commented on every other player apart from 3 which I noted.

I was leaning village on you but this is a very wolfy post for me.
