Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Good people of Boards, I am headed to Killarney for a few days from 10th June with a 4 month old.

    Has anyone got good recommendations what to do and also where to eat that's child friendly?

    Did the Torc waterfall few years ago and probably won't risk it

    Depending on the weather, muckross house, drive up to molls gap and into kenmare.
    There's the aquadome in Tralee with a child pool.
    Child won't be too interested in where you go. Will probably be asleep most of the time:)

    There's tons of nice flat beaches suitable for a pram.

    Macs of Main Street, The Lane in the Ross hotel, Cafe du Parc in the Plaza hotel and Milano's would often have families with babies. Muckross gardens would be a nice place for a walk. Lots of flat terrain for a buggy. Same with Killarney House in the town and the Demesne which are both part of the National Park. Parking beside the Cathedral. Also Ross Castle!
