Be careful running aroud Ranelagh bridge in the rain, i was turning towards Harolds cross and legs went from under me like it was ice. Ribs in a bad way already an hour or so after.

Of course I kept running to get the loop in:rolleyes:

With the brighter wet days some of Father Collins paths have a covering of algae in places which is like ice too, I've had a few close calls.

Some painted kerbs and double yellow lines are fairly treacherous when wet too, although that's only something I've experienced walking as I don't tend to run that close to the road if a path exists. When walking I wear old runners so maybe it isn't a problem with runners that have a good grip

Are there shoes with better wet grip? What type we're you using?

Was wearing nike pegasus 35. But in fairness no grip would of worked there.

Was back running for a week but ribs came back at me during long run. So will take two more weeks off.
