With Spurs playing the CL second leg next Wednesday I would be very surprised not to see Llorente start up top.

If they are 2/3 up then you will see the big hitters (Son/Eriksen) subbed

Torn between Son and Vardy. Currently on Vardy. Safer and just having Son is probably enough.

    Any love for Glen Murray?

Enough to bring him in. Not enough to captain him

Very tempted by Duffy now :D He was second favourite in the FFS poll last time I looked.

Probably won't though. Peeked at their last home game basic stats compared to every other team.

Shots conceded inside box: J8th best
    Total shots conceded: 5th best
Shots on target conceded: J6th best
    Big chances conceded: J7th best

So not bad at all really.

This is their clean sheets since Christmas day all comps.

    Huddersfield (h) 2nd March
    Watford (h) 2nd February
    West Brom (h) 26th January
    Everton (h) 29th December

Have to go back to late October to find another.

I still have doubled up but will use captain elsewhere personally.

    Aguero to be precise!

    Duffy

Pretty much decided on a single Brighton defender in my WC as Im not so sure of any cleans this GW and DGW fixtures are awful for them.

Despite this I'm probably leaning toward Duffy as Capt to provide some sort of cover in the event of clean sheets for Brighton this GW

    This ****ing game...

    The Dufferential!

Going to some scenes here either way, if he flops or becomes a true FPL legend!

Logic is gone out the window for me and now it's pure gut over head on this call.

This coming for the guy who took a -4 to get Kane in last weekend and now have nothing to show for it.

Having thoughts in the last hour of TC Son - have the C on Duffy at the moment. Crazy to do?! Not a fan of anyone next GW (going to BB) and my original plan was to TC Salah at home to Hud but not so sure I can trust him any more.

If Kane, Alli are out he will surely be the main man?

Came in this thread and looked at Duffy (C) thinking what the fook is going on, you're all mad

    2 mins later...

    Duffy (C), absolute FOMO

    All aboard, choo choo

I had it on Son but seeing as everyone seems to be going for the Duffman, I see a plan coming together....

    Let's do this lads!

    You're captaining Wayne Bridge?

Ok so. I'll do the same.

No league left to play in (don't ask!) but Duffy? What is the rationale behind this?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,630 ✭✭✭dr.kenneth noisewater

No love for Vardy? In form at home!

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,687 ✭✭✭✭wonski

    Some madness here :)

I voted Vardy, but got rid and kept Leicester mid instead.

Not sure what to do, apart from Duffy, which I will not do. Wonder how many of you will chicken out or is it some forum wide distraction???

The more I think about it, the more Shane Duffy is becoming a viable option as captain. ...Never thought I’d be saying that at the start of the season.

It’s been more a process of ruling players out this week than anything else. Liverpool v Chelsea isn’t a fixture that would give me any confidence in captaincy. United have been poor and none of their players appeal as captaincy choices.
Aguero and Sterling have to be considered but so do their upcoming fixtures and the possibility of rotation of Pep Roulette.
Kane would have been the standout candidate this week until he broke during the week. Son is an option but it could be the type of game where Llorente or Moura start ahead of him.
Vardy the only other real option sticking out for me, so for me it’s gonna come down to a late call between Vardy and Duffy
