Who owns/uses that helicopter that keeps landing at Terryland opposite Dunnes Stores for months? field adjacent road where all the undergrowth has been cleared a few months back.
It was there yesterday, parked and then took off some time later.

Why have none of the neighbours objected? Is this acceptable?

It was a simple query but with the tone of the post that he should have not been there and why were the neighbours not objecting, which to me sounded like you did not approve of it going in there.

Context is the objection to the helipad on council park at Westside.
People there are objecting. They view it as not acceptable

Helicopters going into UHG have not used the pitch pad since January, they are now landing back on the hospital pad, also anyone who objects to a life saving service need their heads examined, I am sure you would not worry where they landed if you were on board and in urgent need of medical intervention to save your life.

Can you land a helicopter wherever or does it need to be in specially designated areas?

(Serious question if that's not obvious. Privately owned, not EMS)

Presume they would need IIA clearance landing and taking off in a built up area like Terryland? + beside a National Road N6?

I don't think OP refers to that helicopter though.
