Accommodation hotels self catering etc

Hi all,

travelling to Derry on saturday and wondering can people give an insight into places does cheaper accommodation etc, Tried a few hotels but alot want over 170euro for the night, Is there any villages towns outside of derry along the way i might find alternative cheaper accommodation? Or if anyone has any reccommendations on B&BS etc it would be appreciated.

Tried AirBnB?

Wouldn't know any of the B&Bs in town but there are plenty of them. There's hotels just outside that might be cheaper but you'll end up spending more getting taxis out to them (assuming you're not driving).

Had a look on Booking.com for this Saturday and the Travelodge is €100, Waterfoot Hotel is €111. Probably can get them cheaper if you phone them too.

Yup I did and there a bit expensive im not being a cheap skate ha but im travelling up looking at cars and staying in letterkenny the night before so just want something cheap and cheerful il have a look at travel lodge and a few b and bs today thank you
