By the way not much has been said about how terrible Scott Waites has been. Hasn't averaged in the 90's and he's lots in the L64, L256 and L256. Awful stuff from him.

Durrant in trouble again - it's only the last 128 so if he goes out here he's probably finished in terms of getting a card.

Durrant in trouble. 3 -1 down

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,236 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

    4-2 down now.

High quality game. Dennant avg 102 and Duzza 99.

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,236 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

Dennant just missed 3 darts for match and Glen makes it 4-3

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,952 ✭✭✭Degag

Yer man just missed 3 match darts. 4-3 now

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,988 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

    Durrant survives 5-4!

The other lad had three darts from double 16 to win 5-3 and didn't finish, then Durrant pulled out an 11 darter to tie at 4-4 and won the decider.

They should show q-school on Sky, some great matches in it.

Great 11 dart leg to break the throw and make it 4-4. I reckon he'll get a card now after that performance.

Lisa Ashton through too with a 5-1 win and a 92 average.

    Did Durrant win?

Edit: Just seen post above, how many points does he have now

    TbL

That was some pressure to be under
That other guy iv never heard of threw some darts

I suppose for some of these guys its their fa cup final to get to play durrant and play game of their lives

Scott Waites out, no card for him. 80 average. Rubbish again.

Had 8 points before today. Gets 2 points for reaching last 64 today (so 10pts in real time) and another point for each round he progresses from here on.

If there's a tie on Order of Merit countback applies before leg difference comes into play, so basically whoever goes deepest on day 4 will be placed higher on OoM

Easy one this time for Durrant, he's heading for the last 32. That should do him for the tour card I think.

Both Lisa Ashton and Anastasia are into the L32 too. Ashton currently 2-0 up and Ana is 2-2.

Ashton needs to beat Nathan Rafferty for a tour card

Does that guarantee Durrant his card?

    TbL

Durrant is safe, Ashton prob needs to get past Rafferty and then one more. Cut off is looking like 11 points at the mo but still up in the air

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,988 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

Durrant beaten by Kirk Shepherd, who seems to be back playing well again. Durrant has done enough though, he might make that exhibition if he leaves now...

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,988 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

Ashton beaten, no card for her. Shepherd's win means he's definitely back on the tour.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,877 ✭✭✭sc86

Story of the day could be kevin painter
    Into last 8
    Needs to win it out

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,236 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

Disappointed Ashton didn't get one although she did much better than I thought she would. Hopefully she plays the Challenge tour this year.

Shepherd's win means he's definitely back on the tour.

Gavin Carlin, Joe Murnan also assured of cards now. Martin O'Boyle looking good too - though may only squeeze in on countback if he doesn't beat Murnan.

Win or bust for the rest of the T8 afaik

*Edited to add Darren Beveridge is in same boat as Martin O'Boyle
