    Going for the double Liverpool defense anyway since I think Alexander Arnold and Robertson have a good chance of getting attacking returns even if they don't get a clean sheet. It has been seven games with no clean sheet for City so sold Ederson for Kepa. Left with:

    Kepa
    Digne, Robertson, Alexander Arnold, Trippier,
    Richarlison, Anderson, Hazard, Salah
    Rondon, Kane(c)

    Hamer, Torreira, Wan Bissaka, Ings

    At a push Ings; rested even though away to a team that hog the ball. I Don't think Woy will start with a 9 so goes against Zaha for me.

    At minimun. Wolves have the extra day rest over Palace so AWB on the bench is ok I think.
    Schindler given his ownership and lack of threat versus TAA would worry me. I'm starting Lossl (over Button) but Anderson for me is a factor.

    It's play Sané or Jimenez for me.
    And in defence, it's Laporte or AWB.

    I think Palace v Wolves will be low scoring and tight.

    My only thing is I think there's a chance Sané is benched, but having 9.4 on the bench at home seems mad.

    Any thoughts?

    Happy New Year folks....I'm starting the year with a sinus infection and antibiotics so hoping that FPL might provide some light relief today.

    2 FTs....Alderweireld and Martial out for TAA and Pogba. Basically undoing my double transfer from 2 weeks ago...hadn't realised Spurs were so fragile at the back.

    Tough decisions this week
    Currently have Mitro benched due to double united mid which I am uncomfortable with but it is a protective measure for one week only
    Rest of mid is Anderson (BHA), Ricky (LEI) and Fraser (WAT) and Kane/Auba up top. Mitrovic has had a crazy amount of shots/chances last few games but I just cant start him ahead of any of those when he is away to Arseanl

    And then there is my defence..............Alonso and Digne starters. then one of Robertson (mci), Schindler (BUR), WanB (wol)
    Currently starting robertson due to his attacking threat and I expect a tight game........

    The early deadline is going to catch heaps of people out judging by lack of activity on here.........
    I have now convinced myself to start Mitrovic.......for fraser?

    There's a lot of people in the same boat this week trying to sort out the starting eleven.

    FWIW, I'm starting Robertson as well...equally liable to get attacking returns and CS points imho.

    Also, FWIW, I'm starting Mitrovic ahead of Snodgrass. Arsenal will surely thrash Fulham but wouldn't be shocked to see Mitro getting chances against that defence.

    Just read that Snodgrass was subbed due to a knock the last day so a good shout. Maybe managers will make all this debating irrelevant but a lot of the players I fear will be rotated will prob makes cameos

    I am now getting very tempted to sign Jonny for Schindler and start him ahead of Robertson.........a lot of Wolves defence in my league too and they have a lovely run after the city game......but at that stage I could do ALonso to Doherty

    Get woken by the alarm you set so you can do a bit of last minute tinkering before the deadline, drunkenly do untold damage to your team while taking a -24, roll over for another few hours kip. Wake up again thinking you couldn't possibly feel any worse, until you look at your fpl team! Love the traditional New Years Day routine.
