Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Should I get e-tickets fron resellers?

    Hi guys,
    has anyone bought e-tickets from reseller sites (such as viagogo) and got in to a concert? I heard that now they scan your debit/credit card with the tickets, to see if they match, so there's a possibility that I won't get in. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with that.
    The thing is, I really want to go a concert, but Ticketmaster has sold out all the tickets, so I don't really have another option.

    CC is not for all concerts only some of them.

    OOC why would you buy tickets from any secondary site?
    If people didn't buy these tickets, the sellers would have to sell them closer
    to the concert and it would be at a lot lower price.
    Not only that you also pay massive fees.
    There was an article in Sunday Times about viagogo and their fees.

    What concert is it?

    I don't mind paying extra, at least I can rest assured that I will be able to go.
    I just wanted to make sure about the credit card thingy. Cause I don't want to pay and then be refused entry, just because i don't have the CC used for the purchase...

    For Dublin? There is tickets on Ticketmaster now.
