Lower alcohol beers

Can anyone recommend a drinkable lower alcohol beer? I don’t mean the “alcohol free” 0,0% or 0,5% types (e.g. Bavaria, Erdinger) but something half decent around say the 3% mark?

My kids are young - I’ll go back to my preferred options in a few years!

Think LIDL stock this, sometimes in 4 for €10 deal. It's 3.6%.

    Hey,

    I samples a range of session IPA's

I found McGargles Little Banging IPA by far the best... 3.8% but has all the flavour

    Normally 4 for €10

Vedett do a lovely session IPA that's under 3%

Not sure where it's available in Ireland though I go to Belgium occasionally so have tasted a lot of Belgian beer

I know you said no to the 0.5% but I really recommend the brewdog nanny state option, it's my go to when I am the DD but fancy a beery flavour

Their dead pony club is drinkable too, I know it's not as good as the punk IPA or especially the Elvis Juice but at 3.8% it's a lot calmer too

Magic Rock brewers do some low in alcohol session IPA's which are decent too - Was drinking this yesterday at 3.9% might be too saucy

    This one is under 3%

another recommendation for BrewDogs Dead Pony Club. Really good 3.8% session IPA. Shows up in a lot of "4 cans for a tenner" offers in supermarkets

Kinnegar do one called Skinny legs table beer. It’s 3.5%. Meant to be quite nice.

For this kind of thing I've recently been using whiplash Micro IPA or white hag table saison number 40. Both about 2.8% and have a decent amount of flavor for the strength

Whiplash's Rollover is lovely at 3.8%

Had a bottle of Trouble’s Graffiti tonight, didn’t realize it was so light on alcohol until I read the label afterwards. Full body and flavor.

Also worth mentioning that I’ve never had a bad beer from Kinnegar, so their offering is now high in my “long day of seasonal drinking” list.
