Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    So due to technical difficulties I was unable to do this yesterday,

    so here we go it's time to vote for boards.ie favourite Christmas Special...

    Alan copped a dodgy whelk. Jolly boy's outing! All good choices though tbf, apart from Blackadder which wasn't as good as the normal episodes imo.

    Love father ted. Ive never seen any of the other shows. Love the royle family so would have picked that.if it was there.

    I love fairytale of new york. Also love dan fogelbergs 'christmas eve'.

    I voted for Father Ted. But I was watching vicar of Dibley clips last night and it's such a brilliant show too. I'd be delighted if that won either.

    Will we be allowed nominate three songs as well? I know what my first choice will be. And I'd probably nominate Mariah Carey too but maybe I'd be lynched??
