A big Conference A clash sees Munster host Glasgow in Thomond Park. Munster currently lie in 4th and trail leaders Glasgow by 10 points. The visiting team's league form has been excellent, securing 25 points from a maximum of 30 in the opening six rounds.

Munster have gone with a very strong lineup, including the return of Niall Scannell and Keith Earls from injury. Tadhg Beirne and Joey Carbery are absent with a possible eye to a start in Chicago vs Italy. Glasgow on the other hand are missing many key internationals such as Jonny Gray, Ali Price, Adam Hastings and Tommy Seymour with superstar fullback Stuart Hogg on the injury list.

This represents a great opportunity for Munster who should expect at the very least to deny Glasgow a losing bonus point.

I think it's fairly clear that JvG rates JJ ahead of him and has done since the end of last season.

Seems to be the case. From what I remember, Keatley started the semi against Racing, but JJ started all the remaining games after that. I don't think Keats has featured ahead of him since?

Which is weird because in every game JJ has started at ten, he's been well below Pro14 standard.

Yeah exactly. It points towards a fairly damning opinion that JvG has of Keatley.
