It's back. That seemed like a particularly long international break

Morning Kev......yep, it seems like about 3 years since the last GW.

Still mulling over transfers...either taking a drastic -8 or banking.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,106 ✭✭✭Invincible

    Morning Kev, Cartman
Seems like the longest ever break!
Happy enough with team, might swap either Hart or Fabianski out.

I do love me a good keeper transfer. The ultimate sign of team contentment.

I went Guendouzi to Hojberg this week. Expect this will get me into the top ten ;)

    Lacazette(c) Kane
    (Hamer - AWB Iwobi Kamara)

Going to need a few couches to hide behind.

Was considering a button sub keeper as part of a 2ft move myself as needed .1 for Mendy. In the end shipped out Fraser

    Patricio (Hamer)

Robertson Alonso Trippier ( Wan Bissaka, Holebas)

    Maddison Dilva Hazard Richarlison (Billing)

    Mitrovic Vardy Ageuro

Bench is very light so might still do Holebas to Doherty for a -4 even though Watford play Huddersfield next week when he's back.

    Good luck all

Pain and suffering is back. Thank goodness.

    Pickford
    Alonso Robertson Trippier Doherty
    Salah DSilva Fraser
    Aguero(c) Arnie Mitrovic

    Stek Schurrle Bennett

Unless I change my mind in the next hour my wildcard is gonna see me land on

    Patricio (Hamer)
Doherty Mendy Alonso (Fernandez, Wan Bissaka)
    Hazard Sterling Mane Richarlison (McTominay)
    Aguero (c) Mitrovic Jimenez

Fernandez at home to Brighton seems like a fine dice to roll if Mane doesn’t make it for this week.

I’m scratching my head regarding Arnautovic, Ings or Maddison.

Think West Ham and Southampton could be decent this GW. Really don’t want to bench Maddison but he’s playing Arsenal away.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,671 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

    Patricio
    Robbo Alonso Doherty
    Salah Hazard Richarlison Knockaert
    Aguero(c) Mitrovic Arni

    Ryan Kenedy AWB Yedlin

    On wildcard

Am I right in saying Aguero didnt go with Argentina at all again?

    You are

    You are

But now I have spotted City are away in the Ukraine Tuesday night whilst Liverpool have a home game a day later............the amount of Aguero captains is frightening though

I am trying to stop my slide but I don't know whether the best way is to go against the grain with captain or just go with Kun and make up points elsewhere.

Tough tough call........nobody around me has Salah.

Not sure I want to spend the 3pm games hoping one of my players doesnt score though.
It has the feel of an Aguero day too

That's not really something to worry about though is it? This fixture was 4-3 last year. Cardiff put 2 past Arsenal....

I think Maddison and Ings could both do well as opposed to both of them having a quite weekend.

Leicester have 7 goals in 4 away games. Arsenal are probably starting Mustafi and Holding at CB. I wouldn’t be benching Maddison.

On a WC and think I'm finally settled on

Patricio: Wolves defensively have been excellent, Pat 2nd GK this season

Robbo: Season keeper for me, good CS potential and attacking returns
Bennett: Can't afford Doherty, Wolves dbl up risky but here we re
Alonso: effectively a winger with CS potential

Mane: risky as yellow flagged but need a Liverpool attacker. Salah too expensive, Firmino not appealing. Mane fits the bill with their fixtures
Haz: Best player in the PL at the moment
Ricky: Potential to explode is too good
    Sterling: Expensive, but in form

    Aguero (C): It's Kun
    Mitro: Form & fixtures
Jiminez: Alot of Wolves now bu great chance if they score, Jiminez will be involved. Seem to be the Burnley of last season

    Subs:
    Hamer (best of the 4.0's)
WB (great value this year, season keeper)
Yoshida (decent bench fodder at his price, back in the team too)
Kayal (Starts for Brighton, assist the last game, fodder)

    0 ITB

    Think I'm settled on this

(*shuts laptop off, goes on phone)

    GL all

That has helped with my decision whether to bench Maddie or Bennett/Duffy. Probably Bennett because I have Patricio in nets today.

    Kepa
    Yedlin, Bennett, Trippier,
    Hazard, Moura, Richarlison,Mane
    Aguero(c), Wilson, Vardy

    Hennessey,Shaw, Cedric, Billing

    No hits ;)

Scout picks have doubled up on Wolves at the back confirming my opinion that's it not "too late" to invest in the wolves defence.

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,363 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

    Ederson
    Alonso Robertson Doherty
    Hazard Salah Ricky Fraser
    Aguero(c) Arnie Ings

    Hamer Obiang AWB Taylor

Decided not to take a hit to get Mendy in, hoping he doesn't go too mad.
