Watching the Leinster match on Eirsports and I have to ask a question.

The score line at the top left has a yellow bar to its right hand side, it briefly went to 2 yellow bars, does it actually signify anything to do with the match or us it just a graphics glitch?

Note I'm not referring to the yellow marker when someone is in the sin bin.

I saw that, but have no idea why it happened.

Note that these graphics are common to all Pro14 broadcasters, they’re not eir Sport’s normal graphics.

Strangely and imo unnecessarily, I think they represent which half of the game we're watching. One bar for the first half and two for the second.

Edit; On a quick flick through the recorded match, it seems entirely random.

IDK about Eirsports specifically, but usually a little yellow box or flag means that they have a man in the sin-bin (on a yellow card). On the rare occasions that there's two men in the bin => two little yellow boxes.

Didn't see much rugby so far this year, so IDK if that's what you were looking at or not.

I’ve had a look at the scorebars from a couple of Pro14 games this weekend, and afaics the yellow bar at the right hand side is on them all and is purely decorative. I’d just put the double bar down to a glich.

The yellow card indicator is different - it’s a smaller yellow bar on top of the team name.

As I say, the Pro14 graphics are now generic to all broadcasters.
