I had every intention of going after mass this morning but didn't bother in the end. I haven't really enjoyed the last couple of shows; same cars, same stalls, same people etc.

I need to start looking further afield..

What did I miss today anyway?

Think Alfa was spotted in 'today i saw a classic' a few weeks back?

Very few owners around for a chat, even in the cars for sale.

    That's all folks ...

Agree, but it's a small country. If/when I every get my classic I'll be sure to get my money work and show the hell outta it lol

There was a W123 imported from Japan on DD owner said they would be here in the ad, I wanted to ask about the process. Not there though, mush have sold it.

Good stuff Mr Costington, thanks for sharing.

Like you, I think when I get a classic of my own again I'll be more inclined to get out to more events.

show looks to be a growing a bit. Which is good. Went in the early years in 2011 and not really impressed. It's never going to a huge show, but it would be good to see a decent show grow up in North Co. Dublin after we lost Mosney, and this time of the year events can fade out even though the weather can be pretty good in September.

I went early and left early as had other plans but I felt it was one of the best. Lots of cars I never saw before. Shame the field at the back is under repair and unusable, I prefer a grass setting to a carpark but nothing the show organiser can do about that. Weatherwise glorious too !!

Thanks. Audi Coupe GT, Manta, Renault 4 and the Raleigh Chopper would be my favs.

The Raleigh chopper is a reissue a Mk3 & not in great condition either, its the Mk1 & Mk2 that command the good prices!
