    Just watched the entire first fight there on Eir Sport and it reinforced my opinion that a draw was a very fair result.

    On this viewing I gave Canelo 1-3, Golovkin 4-9 and Canelo 10-12. A draw. A number of very close rounds, but definitely no robbery.

    I think if Byrd had given it to Canelo by 1 or 2 rounds, there would have been a some mumbling but it probably would have been accepted..... well except in America where they seem to think that awarding a draw in a sporting contest is akin to mass murder.

    It's really whetted the appetite though.

    Steve Dunce is at it already tonight. Talking about Gonzales looking like he's spent the last year crying in the dark... his trainer died you absolute cretin. I'm sure he is depressed let's make fun of him.

    Also think it was clear from the off Spike wasn't gonna last with Lemieux, even the punches that were being blocked were partially getting through. Spike seened to wobble him at a point but it was one way traffic.

    Just saw it on Facebook there, Jesus that was a scary shot. Spike didn't know where he was even, and he has an iron chin like. Lemieux' power is serious despite his flaws. Awful shot from Spike though, lazy over extended jab leaving himself wide open. He just isn't at this level to be honest and I hope he packs it in soon. It'll be the last time he contends at this stage anyway.

    Anyone else having trouble viewing the PPV on Eir Sport? I'm getting an error saying my Sky+ HD Box isn't getting a satellite signal, yet every other channel is working. Other people on twitter are having the same thing happening to them.

    Change the channel. It's the bad weather at the moment. Heavy downpours in the south at the moment.
