The epitome of ordered/delivered shopping Graces.....the alternative. Crunchie is ok, but doesn't come close to a Wispa. Whoever picked the Crunchie as an alternative to Wispa is lazy. I'd have tried Twirls and then Dairymilk as a last resort, if it was me.

ah no not lazy! This is a small supervalu and they have few lines...she probably was out of any choice.... even sent dog food once when they ran out of cat food! I have had some desperate alternatives! Sometimes now I put NO ALTERNATIVE after an item....Like when they sent the Lasagne as they were out of the large family cottage pie.. yukk...

Makes life interesting and widens my food experience ;)

She was in bed fast asleep.:D

Breakfast this morning was badly needed. Two rashers, two big hash browns, sausage, white pudding x 5 pcs, fried egg and beans and toast. Just had a chicken sandwich for lunch. Finished work soon and then its beer o clock!

Ah I feel for you, not an easy job working and having to cook when you come home, you need to hire a cook. ;)

I feel your pain , same here , someone could hand me a plate of slop and I'd nearly eat it just because of the fact I didn't have to cook it . :p

Ah I'm with you there. While I love cooking, there comes a time when between work and other crap, I just run out of steam. I've made a really nice curry tonight, most likely better than a takeaway, but I'm not even looking forward to it because I've seen it from the raw meat start all the way to the plate. Grand if your the receiver, but not so good when you constantly have to do it. I bet Gordon Ramsey mills a takeaway on a Saturday night.:D

Right! I could spend hours prepping and simmering a curry or stew, and by the end of it all, not in the mood for it.

Having a much deserved glass of wine, and treating myself to some Lilly O' Brien's chocs.

I made chili with rice, usually one of my absolute favourites, but as some of ye are saying between being sick of cooking and longing for something to be handed to me, wishing I had got the mince in the butchers and 3 daughters moaning and killing each other I was completely put off of it. The glass of Malbec didn't even help :(. Hate not enjoying my food:(
