Disaster of a round for a number of people, myself included - a number of big fat zeroes.

Round 6 is here. Going to go for a win for Melaugh G, a win for Short, and a draw on the top board.

Should I not have gotten 5 for Carrol beating Brady?

    Yes actually; sorry!

It was such an obviously daft prediction that I just overlooked it...

Zeitnot (10) for round 6: win for Short, draws for Wall, Delaney.

I’m thinking of dropping out after round 7 and entering the Danish championship tipping competition instead.

Not much chance of catching the three clairvoyants but I am very much looking forward to presenting Tim with the wooden spoon :)

I think I should be on 23 not 22. I should’ve gotten 3 for predicting rush to draw not 2.

More carnage in round 6; a number of zeroes again, and Tim is making solid gains by not predicting at all and collecting his 1-point bye

Wooden spoon? I haven't predicted for several rounds so should be disqualified from that.
As a deputy arbiter I don't think I can offer predictions in case I am later accused of not being impartial.

Failing to make predictions does not exempt you from the wooden spoon award. Since most of your predictions were wrong anyway, not making predictions hardly makes a difference.
It's still not too late for you to pull a rabbit out of the hat with a couple of lower rated winners.

  • Registered Users Posts: 905 ✭✭✭Ciaran

Ciaran (18): Paul O'Neill, Anthony Bourached and Henry Li to win.
