Know any pubs in Dublin where landlords drink or places they go to socialise?

Maybe this this is a pointless attempt but I am trying any possible avenue to secure accommodation, whether it's dealing with the council, homeless services you name it. Anyway I'm trying to figure out what pubs (if any) where there might be a number of landlords drink. Not to just simply go and ask them outright but to become a regular and simply get friendly with a couple of landlords. Let them get to know me and vice versa. Maybe buy them a pint or 2 every now and then and after maybe after my 5th visit start easing into the topic of accommodation and how open they are to this HAP Scheme (the system that's replacing rent allowance) Anyway don't know if it'll work but as far as I'm concerned I'll try anything.

Some landlords drink in Searsons of Baggot Street. the same ones also drink in O Briens of Leeson Street. You can buy them all the drink you want, they are absolute **** and would put their own mothers on the street to get an extra fiver a week.

property agents might be better to get friendly with than landlords since they work on a bigger scale of houses to rent

I like my landlord and I'm happy with what I pay every month. I have a rental property and my tenants are happy, paying the same rent now that they were paying when they moved in four years ago.

Why are we both absolute **** according to you?

Replying to a year old thread for one. Wearing calvin Klein underwear for another.
