Gameweek 38 Match Day thread

Mad old game FPL. This season i've found to be a roller-coaster, hard-to-get-3-green-arrows-in-a-row kind of season. But we all know what we sign up for. I believe there's something to be said for sticking at it, taking the hits (metaphorical and points-based ones) and to just keep chugging along... Alas we arrive at the last gameweek of the season. And even if we suffer a gameweek ranking blow, let's revel in the absurdity of it all. I dedicate this one to Zarquon

I’m about 30 points behind the league leader. Neither of us have Salah and I can’t see him being able to get him in. I have Kane, he has Aubamayang. A Kane hat-trick is probably the only thing that can rescue it for me, and I wouldn’t completely rule it out either.

Won't be making my transfers until 1.45, hoping for the inside scoop.

Although I just remembered as I type this that the site crashed just before the deadline on match day 38 last year.

Very nervous today. Still plenty to play for in 3 money leagues. Resisting urge to take last minute points hits. Kick-off can’t come quickly enough.

I'm 2nd in my work league by a point, but he's got Kane an Salah and I've got neither, not sure whether I should take a bit to get either one if them in? I don't think it does as my net score won't be better than his.

Your midfield is better but only if Silva plays! I'd try to bring in Salah for Silva if the news on the city team comes out in time.

If Silva starts then concentrate on getting Kane into your team somehow. Can't see how you can do that without a - 4 though.

If I thought they had any fire in their belly at all I'd probably consider PEA or Ramsey

Don’t think think I’ve ever been in a situation before where one prize has come down to last day never mind 3!!!!
LMS standing vs scotchy 1st is 150 euro 2nd is 30
Main work league first is out of sight. I’m currently second (110 euro ) 12 points clear of 3rd (80 euro ) who will be reverting to his kaneless team after free hit. He has got a crazy amount of clean sheets over the last 2 weeks to keep him in touch culminating with a triple cleanie Thursday night .
And then ...........a free league with a brilliant prize . For top spot only . I’ve come from nowhere over the past month and now lie second by 10 points . Teams are quite different and he doesn’t have sterling or salah so the potential to win that is there .......

I’ve one FT to make and it’s fairly straightforward as I’ve 2 players red flagged so one of them will go .
2 decisions then to make
Captain Salah or Kane ...........I’ve decided but not saying who

Start Jayew or whomever I sign . That’s a tough one . Swansea obviously need goals but their attacking play the last night was abysmal

I'm in second place in my mini league, 10 points behind the leader.
He has Salah, Eriksen, Sane, Sterling, Kane and Jesus.

I've only one transfer and have 0.6 in the bank.

Can bring in Aubameyang for Jesus and take no hits.
Could do that and Pogba to Arnie for a -4.

Or is bringing in Salah essential and hope the others make up the 10 points?

Dead level going into today. Salah captain today and I don't know if my Spurs supporting rival will stick with Kane or do the same. It's a last day thrillride but regardless of the outcome it's been a terrible season which I haven't enjoyed. I'll be thinking hard about whether I play again come August

Hazard has to start today right? I'm gambling on him over Salah to make up an 11 point lead in my mini league (have Firminho as Liverpool cover)
