Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    The radars that show (what they think is the) precipitation type are showing snow falling over most parts of the east at the moment, apart from north and east Dublin city. I wonder if there is some sort of inversion or something else confusing them as I don't think there are any areas getting snow, apart from maybe up in the Dublin/Wicklow mountains.

    I was wondering the same, looking at netweather yesterday was showing snow over the north west last night..

    Very bad gusts where I am in south Sligo overnight and now at 12.30pm , just been on met eireann site and not even a mention about gales or heavy winds on the nationwide forecast, not even a yellow warning
