They have shown Karen cutting off her gloves and Aoife picking them up again tonight so I suppose Karen’s fingerprints are all over some weapon she used to kill herself.

Wayne driving her along and was nearly at the hospital only to be at the Main Street of Carraigstown. Is there a hospital just behind the Hungry Pig or something?

A few small things. Sash is suddenly on Kerri-ann’s side after a few days away. The two of them at one stage appeared to get a taxi from the spar to McCoy’s. Although Kerri-Ann had changed so must’ve gone home and back at light speed. Carol came back from the jacks but Decco asked a question as if she’d just arrived at the bar. No mention of Oisin supposed to be reporting for work in Wednesdays episode.

Was a very strange episode and again we saw new camera angles all over the place.

I feel like they've had to use a different actor for Junior but it's only temporary so that's why he's been like the Stig for the last few episodes.

Bob and his brother redeeming their voucher in a closed restaurant, actually being allowed in, and then Paul just serving them a random bottle of red wine to start.. All presumably so he could learn about Karen.

Karen's bursts of energy between unconscious spells should have been coupled with Benny Hill music. And Wayne covering her with a tea towel!

Just some thoughts on tonight's episode.

My prediction on the Karen situation - she did it herself or Aoife did it. Although Aoife's actions, particularly when alone, don't really point that way but you never know. Of the "suspects", she seems the most expendable.

no, surely not why would her mother have done it

i liked it tonight i must say.

whats the low down on using defib's ? - I thought they couldnt get the heart started again and that all they can do is put a heart thats beating back into sync again but the heart has to be beating no?

    Logic will dictate this mystery.

Carol- will never ever leave the soap. It wasn't her.

Orla- will never ever leave the soap. It wasn't her.

Wayne- will never ever leave the soap. It wasn't him.

Kerri Ann/Decco- nope, too many months of the love triangle to milk.

Robbie- nope, needs to get back with Carol and give her more reasons to stay.

Aoife- hmm....not a regular, so a definite maybe. As for motive? Who knows. maybe to frame the people who hurt her daughter.

Charlie Manson- hmm, not a regular so a definite maybe. Perhaps she went nuts taking one of the doctors special pills and now doesn't remember.

    Oisin- doubt it, too obvious.

Sean- possibly, hes not in it enough to be safe.

    Karen herself- also very possible.

In conclusion, it wasn't Carol, Orla, Wayne or Robbie. It was someone who is temporary in the soap. 100 million percent.

no, surely not why would her mother have done it

So in the history of the world a parent has never been responsible for the death of their child?

An erratic Karen is approached by her mother, a struggle ensues, Karen somehow gets stabbed inadvertently. Aoife panics, remembers Orla's threatening behaviour and makes a bad decision in the heat of the moment and decides to try and pin it on her..

Surely no worse than the usual scripts we're offered!

Aoife is a very manipulative and somewhat controlling person and I think it's entirely possible that she killed Karen.

But where was Dean???? He will definitely be a suspect, sneaking off work early.....

Kerranne was wearing her pink dress one minute in MCCoys and then the next in a tracksuit.

if only the pheonix way was still up and running and miriam wasnt stoned out of her head she could have pulled Karen to one side and done a bit of humming and incense sniffing and then it wouldnt have come to this...

This is the worse Whodunnit i have ever seen in my life. I don't care who did it, it was probably Karen herself. But my God, the way the writers tried to set up a load of characters for the involvement was so amateur hour.

Karen left the Station and within an hour, everyone was running around in a panic because she was 'missing?' Not that she was still out, not that she was in Coppers or something, she was missing!!! WTF!!

And in no way whatsoever would the likes of Wayne and Sean react like that, especially Sean. That was rush hour writing with no development whatsoever.

For an episode that i'm sure was meant to be so dramatic and emotional, i just couldn't stop laughing throughout. It was like a school play.

The scenes. The writing. The dialogue.

This surely must have been a transition year project that RTE aired by mistake.

Kerri Ann FFS would you just walk away and leave Decco to his sulks . Disappear from sight, move to a B&B, stop texting and ringing him . Just stop trying !!

He needs space , time , whatever , but you won’t be a man back by begging . Make his miss you , make him wonder did he have something to do with your fling by being on his phone 24/7 and working all hours .
Stop the whining, crying and begging and pull yourself together girl .

(Actually I’m thinking she’s might lose the baby with all the stress )

Zumo will never be brought back since he was convicted in real life of beating up His girlfriend.

Funniest part of last night's episode for me was Sean out drinking a few cans in the park, at midnight or after, on his own... as you do when your a sensible young man in your mid twenties.

This lovely March weather we've had, what could be nicer than drinking a few cans sitting on a park bench, -3C (windchill -10C).. Sean just 'chillin'.

They had him back for the storyline of his brother getting wed then still

Implausible that Wayne wouldn't call an ambulance for Karen. Only a complete nutjob / sociopath would be thinking in terms of covering up the incident instead of dialling 999.

Well, he did dial 112 and got distracted when Robbie arrived and so he ended the call. (that call will be on record too). Probably just panicked at that stage? No one knows how they might react to such a situation until they're in it I guess.

The whole Wayne stuff was completely ridiculous. Dragging her across the floor and into the car. Why ring the emergency services when you can pile a stabbed woman into the car and go to the hospital yourself....and leave a crime scene in your own house, after half ringing the emergency services.

It was like watching a bad cartoon when the likes of Oisin and Orla found out about Karen...shifty eyes everywhere. 'I'm not guilty...I swear, but I do have something to hide, so I'm a suspect' type of shifty eyes. It was like something off the Simpsons to be fair.

Even when Fair City try a decent stab (boom boom) at a storyline, they make it seem amateur.

I think Oisin will be blamed for it. Considering the last message sent from Karen's phone was 'I know it's you Oisin'.

Wayne with Karen in the car going to the hospital "we assume" "Stay with me now, it wont be long "..next thing he almost kills Deco....how fcuking big IS Carrigstown...

It was so ridiculous. I mean, really really bad writing. He's there's drinking cans, sees Karen wander in injured and instead of ringing an ambulance, he legs it off in a panic. Amateur hour theatrics.

Last night's episode was so bad, it was hilarious. Deco getting knocked over by Wayne was brilliant. I'm sure the writers think there is a reason to that incident that adds to the intrigue.

I was wondering why they suddenly turned Karen into a basketcase over the last fortnight, it was for this nonsense. She was always a bit quirky, granted. But how they rushed this storyline through is something else.

It's fairly obvious that Karen did this to herself. If they attempt to make another character responsible for it just adds to the ridiculous, rushed storyline.

I genuinely mean this, the 'Who Shot Mr Burns' storyline in The Simpsons was better set up and more dramatic than this nonsense.
