I know there's a ladies thread but thought it might be nice to separate out the 6 Nations as a thread in itself.
Last week's performance against France was disappointing.
Hopefully we will do better against Italy today and then we have the advantage of 2 more home games.

Any thoughts on game so far?
7-0 up after 25 minutes for those not watching.
Ok performance so far. Scrum very dominant but other areas very mixed.

Main thoughts are that we're gonna needs subs for our subs at this rate. Ali Miller gone early, no sign of Naoupu coming back from a HIA, both their replacements have already been in the wars with head clashes and soft tissue strains. Italy not much better off.

Interesting Irish try towards the end of the match

I think I'll head along, found out today I might have a work thing but if not I'll be there alright. May be the last day without snow for the week!

Playing so much better today than their previous games. Claire molloy is putting in a solo performance for the ages.

Peat in big trouble for that tackle
    Ireland gone to sleep

Disastrous start to the second half

Mike Ross working wonders with the Irish scrum. 7 man Irish scrum pushes Wales 8 man off their own ball!!

    Thats terrible from the ref

In her own mind how did she not think, 'well feck it, we'll call advantage and let the score stand'. Ireland robbed of a well worked try there. Poor after a good game from Sara Cox

Lol, my missus said that and I said, if I'd said that I'd get a bollicking!

Aw shucks tanx. Oh, wait...... ;)

From what I recall Ms Cox is spoken for by another lady anyway. Rugby eh?!

    Unfortunately not! ;)

Meanwhile, well worked score, bonus point win on the cards. Credit to the women for regrouping after those sucker punch concessions after half time

    Claire Molloy is some player.

    Great finish by molloy

That's as singular a performance as I've seen in any rugby game.... Amazing

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,796 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Its heart of rugby stuff, she works a week of nights in the E.D., pre match training on her own, then arrives and plays like that. Huge respect.

Great match. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Great game. Claire Molloy was unreal, scrum was incredible. could/should have won by more, the atmosphere in Donnybrook was unreal as usual.

I feel like i should know this but is there a citing commissioner for these games?? how ever the Welsh hooker got away with the eye contact to the face I'll never know.

Too precious imho. Rugby players (male and female) should be well able deal with a bit of slagging.

Calling her a heifer isn't "vile abuse" imho.
