No because I’ve often heard them order whiskeys and gin and tonics. Oh n obviously Carol with her vodka n orange. They just obviously can’t say the actual brand. Should just say a pint of beer.

Debbie is a very very odd character. Its hard to put my finger on why, exactly, but she behaves very differently from one week to the next. When Katy went missing, she only seemed to care sporadically. She still refused to stop gallivanting around with the local man slut Tommy even though she hadn't a clue where her daughter was, she seemed to shrug off her disappearance as coldly as losing a pair of gloves- she would spend weeks not talking about it. Even when Eoghan spiralled into severe depression, she relied more on Tommy than Emmet, she is a real cold fish.

When Katy was found, she attempted for about a week to connect with her daughter before shrugging it off and heading back to Tommy, bizzare, she seemed to only want to make a token effort as if Katy was a nuisance. Where was she when Emmet was sucked into the cult, surely she heard the rumours of Emmet attacking Pete? Its as if she only wakes up to being a mother two or three times a year! She hounded Manson recently in every scene warning her to "stay away from my family". only to head off to Scotland just when her son needs her the most. Its impossible to connect with her character. I think it would have been better if she had been Katy and Emmets aunt or big sister, not mother!
