Renee was gas there. You can get married now. I bought a dress. I was expecting her to say I've loads of gay friends.

I think she said "I voted yes". I wish she'd said "I bought a dress", that would have been contender for most ridiculous line of the year.

7 mod actions in this forum since last August. You're not getting the message though, so this is your last warning - the next action will be a permanent ban from the forum.

Another accent which is completely off is Charlottes, all the Bishops have proper Dub accents where as she sounds very posh, i like her as an actress but its a bit mad to have such a different accent to the rest of her family, i have gotten used to it now, but though it was so out of place when I first watched the show, also Mondo's Juliette - erm hasnt she lived in England for nearly 10 years?!

Oh god please don't mention Juliette. Got to be the worse character/actress on fair city at the minute.

The snarl she puts on makes me want to slap her!

so, what is this with Kevin - it cannot have been a "Joke" kissing whatshisface - so is Kevin just confused at the moment then? - where is this leading?

Charlotte having a different accent to the rest of the Bishops isn't that much of a stretch considering Vivienne (who was quite well spoken) took Charlotte and left Paddy when Charlotte was quite young and Decco Denzo and Zumo were dragged up by Granny Bishop Eileen who had a strong Dublin accent.

How many from Ballymun have been in it while we are on about the Bishops.

Eileen and Sash are from there IRL, isn't it part of some scheme I believe

The solicitor lady is a cross between Columbo and Inspector Gadget in the coat.

Not surprised Oakley tried to take his life, saw that coming when he said he wouldn't serve a day of a sentence.

I think Kevin is in a bit of turmoil. He's gay but trying not to be.

Think we have to see Karen with someone older, Dean maybe? Or is he still with Caoimhe?

I thought when Oackley was saying he wouldn’t serve a day of his sentence that he knew people high up and that they would use their power and influence to get him off seeing as nepotism is alive and well in Ireland.

I was shocked when they said that but I don’t think it was a genuine attempt, I think it’s more he was thinking I’ll be admitted to hospital and then try and escape.

That will be it. It is a situation like Fran in series 5 of Love/Hate. Hurt himself, get to hospital and escape.

was Karen a bit locked in some scenes tonight - she looked a bit spaced out and she was smiling away when wagon carol was telling her it was all her fault what happened.

In the first scene when Aoife was getting coffee in the pig she was pulling some face. Looked like she was tripping!

We have never seen Aoife out of her coat have we?

And she only seems to have one coat.

Come to think of it Emmet only has one hoodie and Kevin lives in that denim fleece jacket as well.

Cristiano might get him out of it though.

Watching the last week or two is tediously bad. Robbie and Aoife bump into each other in Spar/McCoys/Station/Community Centre, they talk, Carol happens to walk in and get mad... Repeat, repeat, repeat.

I imagine fair city as a M. Night Shyamalan project where the final scene is the camera moving up and up revealing the entire show to be a scene in a children's snow globe

I just saw on facebook that the old woman who appeared last night on Ireland's Got Talent sometimes appears as an extra on Fair City!
