    Hi there,

My GAA club is having their medal presentation in late February.

Any recommendations on a good guest speaker?

If it’s a Hurling club, get Shefflin.
    Doesn’t ask for anything.
A real genuine person. Not in it for the € at all.

Yeah, one of the few, if not the only county manager who refuses payment.

Mícheál O'Muircheartaigh, if you could get him, would be really good.

I didn’t intend it to mean 6 quid or 6 figures.
Just meant you’d need to fork out.

Jim McGuinness is an incredible public speaker, if you can get him.

TBH I've encountered him twice. First time when we add a fundraiser for our club in Stoneybatter years ago. He did it for free and his knowledge of our club was outstanding, he's no connection to us at all.

We hired him for a company night out once in Shelburne Park.

He was great and not overly expensive from what I can remember.

I followed his advice on the night and won 150 euro

    The man is a gentleman.
