Anyone taking bets on Oakley escaping from hospital?

Miriam makes Oakly sound like Michael Myres "He's still alive, anything can happen"

Oakley fakes a suicide attempt and then escapes the hospital to get revenge on Emmett, Miriam, etc. That's the way it is looking.

Loved the expression on Carol's face when Aoife stripped her teeth in defense of her daughter.

Robbie doesn't know what he wants, himself and Aoife kissy kissy and half an hour later Carol we were meant to be together.

I think he still has a grá for Aoife and she for him...unfinished business sotospeak.

I'm watching on plus one and I have to say I love Dr Oakley!

    Renee was gas there.
You can get married now. I bought a dress.
I was expecting her to say I've loads of gay friends.

I thought she looked like she was back from a sun holiday.

I kind of wanted Aoife to slap Carol, which I don't think is what the writers are aiming for.

If anyone deserves a slap it’s Aoife, absolute pain in the h*le.

Karen outed Kevin to the pub.
    Robbie kissed Aoife.
Dr oakley tried to blackmail his solicitor and then tried to kill himself.
Carol threw a glass at Robbie.
Renee told Kevin the Gays can get married now.

I must say about the last few FC episodes, its been really really refreshing to look at characters other than Niamh, Delores and Paul. The raft of young and new characters like Karen, Kevin, Harmony etc definitely makes it more interesting.

I think its great to have new blood. But it seems to take ages for the new younger actors to come across anyway believably, their acting is pretty atrocious! Karen was woeful when she began, I will say she has improved (albeit she could really only go upwards) Harmony between her posh south dublin accent? to her country accent and over acting is hard to watch, but its a good idea to introduce her as a character.

I thought Aoife was all right at the start, and I liked the history with her and Robbie, but she seems to be getting duller and duller as each episode goes on. I am rooting for Carol in this one!

I'd take Aoife over crusty voice Carol any day of the week!

His hair grew back fairly quick after that haircut. Instead of Greasy should we not call him Mr.Floppy.

I actually found the episode good enough. I found Karen's outing of Kevin kind of premature but it wasn't overly dramatic as some soaps would have done.
I enjoyed having Oakley back. Fingers crossed he'll escape and murders Debbie.
I loved Renee's reaction to Kevin!!

I notice Harmony keeps drifting off into a country accent (Tipperary or something). Isn't she supposed to be a Dub though?
    Sparko wrote: »
Yeah I noticed her accent seems a bit changeable, I think she's from Limerick in real life.

Definitely has a midlands/west accent. Funny how Hayley is a real Dub and Harmony sounds like she's just landed in the family. Reminds me of how Patrick Ball who plays Oisín is from Clare and so has a regional accent, yet his character was supposed to have grown up in Cork/Dublin.

Another accent which is completely off is Charlottes, all the Bishops have proper Dub accents where as she sounds very posh, i like her as an actress but its a bit mad to have such a different accent to the rest of her family, i have gotten used to it now, but though it was so out of place when I first watched the show, also Mondo's Juliette - erm hasnt she lived in England for nearly 10 years?!

Granny Eileen Bishop and her son Paddy reared the three boys and Vivianne reared Charlotte somewhere else. Vivianne was a nurse I think and returned to Carrickstown when Charlotte was diagnosed with cancer.

was Karen a bit locked in some scenes tonight - she looked a bit spaced out and she was smiling away when wagon carol was telling her it was all her fault what happened.

Watched this muck tonight on the player . I honestly am not sure who is worse the writers of this rubbish who are a disgrace to the intellect of our marvellous nation or the jackasses here commenting on it.
